New Bride on the Block!

Hi girls... another new bride on your team! I have been engaged since October, but this is my first time on LIWeddings. I have a date, a church, a reception hall (Flowerfield) and a dress! Ohhh and a photographer (Patken). Guess that's a start right.

I am looking for some feedback on limos, flowers and music. If you know of a reasonable band or florist... send me your thoughts.

Just wanted to say welcome and congratulations!! I've heard really great things about the Franklin Wayne bands, Heart and Soul in particular. A friend had them at her wedding and they were fantastic!

Hello,

I'm a newbee too. I just got engaged on Dec. 6th and I also have the date, the venue (The Inn at New Hyde Park) and the dress. I'm looking to book with patkens but wanted to look at a least two more places. A co-worker used them and she was very happy with them. I'm still debating.
I have yet to find a DJ, limo. The flowers, I have to say I've only met with one company, Flowers by Michelle. I loved our session. I wanted to book that day, but i feel like I still have to look around. You should try them if your still looking for flowers.

Hi! Congrats and welcome. I am getting married at Flowerfield too! I just booked with Keyth from Lovin Oven florist. He gave me a good price b/c I am a 'Lovin Oven bride', and i am sure the fact that i am getting married during off season doesn't hurt! I suggest you check him out.

FF is beautiful! I'm going to see Heart & Soul perform this Tuesday night at Crest Hollow CC. Franklin Wayne is one of FF's vendors so you might want to check them out! Congrats and good luck with everything!

We loved our limo company and florist. Sir Oliver was fabulous and our limo driver Joe was incredible. He actually straightened and fluffed my train as I went up the aisle at the church! Our florist was Nancy at Open House Country. She gave us exactly what we wanted and she was so lovely to work with. FM if you'd like her info.

I didn't use a band, but we just booked with Mike from Flower Barn today, and they seemed great!
