My Mets wedding day present for FH!!!!!

My Mets wedding day present for FH!!!!!

I just bought FH's wedding day gift. You know that Citi Field is the new Mets stadium that is going to open in 2009. so, right now they are doing one of those buy a brick programs to get donations for the Mets charity. The Bricks are placed in one area called the Fanwalk. so i bought an 8' by 8' brick that has the mets logo on it and says:

Let's Go Mets!
The
B----- Family
Est. 7*6*08

Obviously, that would be his last name instead of a bunch of lines. I'm so excited!! He is a die hard mets fan. and now we and our future kids and grandkids will have a brick at Citi field. You get a replica brick so my brother is going to bring it with him on the wedding day when the groomsmen are getting ready at FH's house. He is going to give it to him for me then. I'm so happy!!

Oh and what is even better is that its donation so its tax deductable Yipeeee!!!!

Thanks! I just bought FH his gift!! He is gonna flip...now I am gonna call in the a.m to get us tix to several games...the packages online have dates we wont be here for cus we will be on our HM!

I am very confused -- if the bricks are being placed at a fanwalk, how can you give the brick to FH? My FH is a huge Mets fan and would love it! Sorry if I'm dense here, but i don' t get it!

The Mets give you a replica brick and a certificate. I got one for DH and he loves it !
