CAT people

okay - i'm not a cat person at all - but i saw a really interesting commercial yesterday & wanted to share....

Arm & Hammer has a new product out of kitty litter that when your kitty pees or poops - the litter where they did it - turns BLUE - so that you can see it before it starts to smell!

it's called Arm & Hammer Odor Alert - here's the description: Scooping out the litter box is a serious chore. And no matter how frequently you scoop out the clumps, you may miss some soiled pieces. They gradually build up and eventually start to smell. Now, you can see and remove the source of odor before it starts to smell with Pre-Odor Indicators that turn blue on contact with urine. You know it's time to change the whole box when the blue indicators start to build up.

LOL I've heard the commercial... 'if your litter can't change color.. change litter!'

My cat is asthmatic so I have to use paper litter!

I don't really get why you would need it to change color - you can see it anyway. We use these pine pellets from Trader Joe's - smells a little like a woodland cabin, a little like a hamster....
