Last Song of the night...

What song are you going to have played as the last song as the night? Does it have to be a fast, or slow song? I was thinking of doing 'Sweet Caroline' because my name is Caroline and I was named after the song. Is that really stupid? Be honest....

honestly, i think its kinda puttin u too much into the limelight when its suppossed to be for the 2 of u.... and from experience, that song gets everyone wayyy pumped up and then to be told the night is over... its gonna come to a screeching halt... i think when u end of a more mellow song... it tells people, listen, its over, get the hell out LOL

Yea, I just ran the idea by FH, and he said that he doesnt want it to be the last song because its only about ME. But I said...What's wrong with that???

are we sharing the same brain? That's what I thought immediately. Also, what was that movie with Jimmy Fallon all about the Red Sox? Don't pick a Red Sox associated song, that's just wrong!

i think its a cute idea and do what makes you happy.

I was gonna do a slow song, andrea boccelli 'time to say goodbye'

but then after our e-party i decided to go with a fast song...we didnt even pick the last song at our e-party but our dj played the final chapter(which we requested but didnt specify when to be played) so the last 10 mins or more it was great, everyone got up and formed a circle around some of us, fh started battling his friend then me and fh battled, then fh and his brother then me and his brother, it was a great way to end it and woke up those to get up one last time and to participate, sometimes at the end of the night ppl are just tired and dont want to get up but instead start heading out around the last song, i see it at weddings all the time, this got noticed and everyone stayed until it was over and also every single person was out of their seat and on the floor

also when you talk to dj's you will see that they leave more of the faster songs and heavier songs for the end, they all say how usually the lights get more intense around the last hour or 2 of the party and thats when they play most of those songs.

I'm torn between either 'I've Had the Time of My Life' from Dirty Dancing, or 'New York New York' by Frank Sinatra (New York New York holds special meaning to my family because we are all diehard Yankees fans and that is the song they play at Yankee Stadium after every game, but FH and his family are from Maryland and hate theYankees....all the more reason to make sure that is the last song! haha)

I think im gonna habe 'Time to say goodnight' by Andrea Boccelli, because Im Italian, and hes a great singer.... that songs always makes me cry

We were thinking that too. Sounds a little weird but our DJ has a remix/faster version of it so we were thinking of using that.
