the quote for CLM seems weird to me...I got a quote of $52 pp for the sunday evening after you...I dunno whats going on with that one....
Any other places you've gotten quotes for so far or just these?

It depends on the time of year at CLM it changed drasticlly! Im paying $75pp +18% +tax and vienese comes to $115 for April 30th May was $95pp on a friday night, June was $100pp July $105pp it just kept going up until Oct.

$500 chapel fee
$300 maitre 'D fee
had to guarantee 150 people for the big room with the view
we got the Chocolate fantacy fountains thrown in (white chocolate fountain, dark cocolate fountain and a mik chocolate fountain,) Clams and oysters and thats it. We tried getting the ice sculpture too but it just wasnt happening. I wish I neg the price a lil but there was too many people in the office when I booked (my mom, dad, FMIL, and FBIL UGH) So I kinda just signed away and wrote my check out lol

Re: Price Quotes 2010

I think most halls give you the absolute highest price, knowing they will probably be talked down, even a little bit. So I think for anyone who hasn't booked yet, when you go in, always try to get lower than what they give you!!

At first I was really afraid to ask for a lower price, but then I realize everyone does it so they expect it to happen. They want your buisness, they want you to book, so they will almost always lower the price/throw in extras. I would just make sure they knew I really loved the place but it wasnt in my price range.

Also, as long as your willing to flexible with date, you can get a much lower price. I know we have alot of winter brides and thats definatly smart because you get the lowest prices then. I also found out while looking March is an off season. I think March is a great time b/c there's a good chance you'll get nicer weather and you still get the winter price.

Unforunatly for me, there was NO WAY I was having a winter wedding- I'm one of those annoying girls thats cold even in the middle of august

This is a great thread!!!!! I luv Feb discounts but I want to choose my own vendors, not have a rh bundle it. On the fence about ice sculptures. I think all vendor meals should be free. Swan Club is beautiful.

I know what your saying about the RH bundle. But with the Flowerfields bundle, it truley is the BEST vendors. There are great reviews about Lovin Oven floral and patken.

while I love Flowerfield's, and I think it's a cool deal, I do want to pick my own photographer. Flowers I really don't care about and the cake (I just want it for decoration purposes considering no one ever eats it or likes it anyway haha). The photographer is where I plan on spending my money...just one of the more important things to me. What I might like, you guys might not like (in terms of style of pics so Patken might not be my #1 choice...haven't looked at website or anything so I apologize in case I do haha) :D

Re: Price Quotes 2010

i feel the same way about the bundle...and the photographer. what im actually doing i smeeting with patken next tuesday and seeing what they charge me for all the additions that i want and then going to other photographers and seeing what they give me and quote me at. if i feel more comfortable with a diff one and their price is comprable then i'll use them and forget patken. its not mandatory that you use the vendors they include

Re: Price Quotes 2010

bumping for Mrs.Z

Also, i think the rule of thumb and I could be wrong is five dollars more per year, i think don't quote me lol.
i.e. 80 for a Sat in 2007, 85 in 2008, 90 in 2009 kinda like that...

Flowerfields $145 for Nov 09 and $110 for January 2010 - really included everything, my favorite place

Includded DJ? Photographer, etc?? Cause that sounds so expensive for November... even January.
