My videographer wants me to download the songs that I want for the video? Isn't this odd?
DH & I used an non-LIW vendor for our video. DH was totally against a video, but then agreed if it was under $1000. I found a videographer in a bridal magazine for this price. I wasn't that picky, because I just wanted to capture the day. He tells DH the other day (cause I didn't like him at the wedding and refused to talk to him) that we have to download the songs and give him a CD. Well I don't see why we have to be inconvenienced? DH just tried and we are having computer proglems. Did anyone else have to do this to get their video. By the way, it does not say this anywhere in the contract.

I needed to give my videographer a CD with the songs we were using on it.My videographer also was horrible. I wonder if we used the same one. LOL!

I used Duet, and we had to give all the songs burned on a CD.

I think that if you paid under $1000, it is perfectly acceptable that you download the songs. You get what you pay for.

We downloaded our songs too, but instead of sending him a cd of them, I just emailed him the files of the songs.

No- I just had to write them down.They only wanted them on CD if they were totally obscure.

I think that if you paid under $1000, it is perfectly acceptable that you download the songs. You get what you pay for.
What does paying under $1000 have to do with it?

Also...I used duet and had to burn the songs I wanted on CD....I actually felt more comfortable doing it that way.

well... Thats odd... I paid wayyyy over $1,.000 and I still have to DL songs... I guess I am not getting what I paid for...

We had to give our Video guy a CD of songs we wanted.If you aren't able to give them a CD...just let the video guy pick them. I'm sure he has songs that would work perfectly with the video

it's probably b/c of the copyright issues. We had to do the same thing with Sherwood Triart.

We paid ALOT less than $1000 and didn't have to download our own songs.. thats just nuts!
