It poured on Sunday!
My shower was Sunday - I was so overwhelmed by the people there, I think I was in shock for the first hour. It was a great time, even though I was (and still am) sick as a dog. It was such a wonderful time, I think I'm still glowing from it.It was at one of my favorite local places in Saratoga - The Ripe Tomato. Lunch was a choice of Chicken Marsala, Salmon Florentine or Yankee Potroast

the cake, from my favorite bakery (bella Napoli) - orange is my favorite color, so i was really excited abou the cake

Yaaay! No more mixing by hand! I no longer have to be afraid to make my great-grandmother's oatmeals cookies!
one of my place settings - I got 9 total! I love fiesta ware and chose peacock, heather, tangerine and scarlet
my lovely hat, which my sister tells me I have to wear to opening day at the track next year
It was such and awesome time AND I got half of my thank you notes finished last night!

Yay!!!! That cake looks soooo good. You'll love that mixer. I have mine for years and its the best!!!!! Get the cover for it too, it has a nice pocket to hold recipes and keeps it dust free.

Thanks guys it really was a great time, I can't believe the wedding isalmost here - the shower was another one of those things that made it so much more real
