church rant
its strange to say this but i do NOT recommend st. brigid's church in westbury. from day 1 they've given me such a hard time (they didnt get back to me for almost 2 months when i constantly called trying to book my ceremony) and would make excuses when i would call. and 1 week before my wedding, they tell me that my FH wasn't baptized there (we didnt ask his parents, he was confirmed and had his communion so we assumed he was baptized there). we told them like 4 months ago he was and they wait until the week before? now i find out where he was baptized and call them up. well apparently because of the holiday, they're 'swamped' and dont know when she'll have the time to send it out to me. or fax it to my church. are you f*&*(ng kidding me???????????????????????? i cant get married without this and she apparently doesnt think its more important than other stupid sh*t shes got going on there. i'm fuming. i hate my church. im going to hell

Re: church rant
I can't even begin to explain the problems we had with my church.Let's just say that music was decided over the phone less than a week before my wedding b/c no one could get their crap together. That was actually one of the better things that happened.
They are often very inefficient.

Re: church rant
I'm so sorry you're having all this stress right now. I'm getting married at St. Brigid's too...have you spoken to Adrianna about it? Which priest is marrying you? Father John is doing our service and he checked out our paperwork....call Adrianna or the priest and explain the problem. They're not pleasant but they seem to be somewhat reasonable.HTH

I got married at St. Brigids and did not have any problems, sorry you are having so many.I would call the father who is over seeing your ceremony, he will be more help then Adrianna that much I can tell you. She is almost useless.

Re: church rant
oh my LORD did i have problems with our church too! We couldn't get married in our 'home church' because it was just too small for our amount of guests...so we went with another church let would let our pastors come in & marry us...i have NEVER had so many problems with anything else in my life!!!! they were so hard to deal with and even our pastors were like 'WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM?!?!!!' lol i totally feel ur pain... but dont worry - it'll all work itself out in the end!Welcome New Vendors
