Vendor Rant...no surprise here!(Long! Beware!)

Hey girls. I went with one of my BMs who is getting married in July to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. We knew what dress she was looking for and she called on Wednesday to make sure they had the dress in the store so we could try it on and her cousin who lives in FL could get measured before she goes home. Anyway, so we go in and they are searching for the dress which they cannot find. Finally, she comes upstairs and says, 'Oh that dress is in Carle Place. We can have someone bring it here in about an hour'. Um, ok. So we go have lunch and come back. The dress is finally there and she puts it in a room, leaves, and doesn't come back. Noone does. Not one single girl helped us figure out the damn sash or anything. They were snobby too! So, we left and took our business to Burton's!!!!

Wow. How rude. I passed by there on Tuesday on my way back from CLM. Seems too froo-froo for me. Glad there was RK Bridal in the city.

I was thinking that I should go to a bigger bridal shop to look for BM dresses, but I'm constantly reading horror stories! I got my dress at Burton's so I think i'll stick with them as well! Especially since the BMs get 20%off their dresses!

That is so rude! I am sorry you had a bad experience I was plannig on going to the Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. Should I not go anymore? I saw a beautiful dress in the window that I wanted to try on.

What should I do????

Who's been to that Bridal Reflections (Carle Place)? If so, what was your experience?

I always here brides talking about Burton's! Can someone tell me where that is? I would like to go there to check out bridesmaids dresses. Is that a good place to check out wedding gowns too???

I have never been to the one in Carle Place, but it doesn't hurt to go check it out and try on the dress that you liked! Good luck!

Burton's is in Melville just off of Route 110!

I was just at the one in Carle Place last week and i had two different experiences. I first went on a Tuesday evening by myself just to look and see what they had, and the girl was sooooooo helpful!!! Then I went back that same Friday w/ my MOH and one BM and the same girl just put the dresses I liked in the fitting room and never ever, did she step from behind the stupid desk to help us try the dresses on. I was sooo pissed. I couldn't understand how one day she could be so helpful and another completley ignore me!

arggg.. and i just made an appointment with them to check out some dresses!!!! I guess maybe i'll make another appointment someplace near there to cover my @$$ in case they are really horrible!!!

So weird how I always hear this bout bridal relfections. I got my wedding dress at the bridal store in Massapequa and it was such a pleasant experience.....
I'm not sure how the bm part of the store was...
That was so rude of them, were they even busy that day?

yea I live in Massapequa and I've been to Bridal reflections a ton of times for other weddings.. and they are HORRIBLE.. 1/2 the time they can't even bother to help you find the dress or clip it on you!

I bought my dress there and had a wonderful experience there so far. I worked with Dana. She was great!!!!

Also I ordered my BM dresses from BR in Carle Place and had another positive experience. Sorry some of you had such bad ones
