I'm so angry, the bracelet I ordered for my FG's is too small and my wedding is in 4 days!!!

I ordered a silver bracelet for my 2 FG's. ( I also bought them tons of other things, but last week, I decided I also wanted to get them a little silver bracelet w/an engraved hanging heart. I received the bracelets today and they are pretty, but only measure 4 1/2 inches. The description said that it was 5 3/4. I even verified that the length was 5 3/4 when I called up. Well today when I received the bracelets I looked at them and realized that there is no way they will fit a 6 yr. old. I called the company 'Anne's Bridal Bargains' and was told that the 5 3/4 is the size including the heart. I asked the lady over the phone what she suggests I do and she laughed......Does anyone know where I can get a small extension? I can't order it online cause there's no time. Also, if anyone has a 6 yr old what is the length of their wrist?

That stinks!!!! I think that you should be able to get a little extension in any jewelery store and you may even be able to get an extension in Claires.

Thanks for the reply Pattty. Claire's was useless. Yes, I can get an extension, but the links on the bracelet are big.

hey Joyce...sorry they are so small...can you call the FG's mom & ask her to measure??? It may be ok...did the website say 'child's size' or give any ages that the bracelets would fit??

Hi Kath: No they just said child size. The Moms are measuring their wrists. But the bracelet should hang a little. Here it is. It would look wierd w/a regular extension.

it's beautiful!!!! I would think it should fit a child...i'd like to know how the heck they include the heart in the measurement though...that is BS!!!!! Only other thing i can think of is take it to a good jeweler and ask them for options...i am sure they've dealt with stuff like this!! I am hoping the wrists measure ok instead though!!!!! Can't beleive your day is almost here!!!!!!

I would go to a jeweler or to the upstairs of the Tri County - where they have all those jewelry shops and see if they can give you an extender... HTH
