Any NYC friends for us?

have posted here before and got some great help from you NY brides.

Im english and getting married while on holiday in New York the first week in January. It will only be a tiny wedding as family cant make it over there ( we are having a family and friends party when we get back).

We are getting married at our hotel with pictures afterwards in Central Park, pony carriage etc and a meal later. My dauhter is coming with us as my bridesmaid but other than the preacher and his wife and any hotel staff, there will only be the three of us. I did have a friend flying down from Canada but her parents are very ill and she cant make it.

I have been thinking it would be wonderful to befriend someone local, maybe a couple to be guests at our wedding and hopefully become friends initially by email, icq, msn etc.

Age, race etc, are totally unimportant.. we would just love to have local friends with us at the wedding.

Anyone interested in being NY friends to us? Please let me know

Our wedding is at our small hotel in the Middletown district of Manhattan on 4 January. Pictures afterwards in Central Park and a meal after that, although we have still to decide where to have it.
