are the guest rooms at the Glen Cove Mansion really that bad?

I have heard that they are nothing to brag about & I booked my wedding night there.
I was also hoping to take the getting ready pics before the ceremony there as well b/c my house will be full that morning....

Please give honest opinions, I have never been there & I will not get offended at all.

I've never seen the rooms, but the place is gorgeous, I can't see how the rooms could be bad.

That's what I was thinking too... how bad could the rooms be? But I heard that from a couple of people and I wanted to get feedback from brides who have been there.

Would it be possible for you to visit? Tell them that you just want to see what the room that you booked would be like. Here is a link to their photo gallery. The picture they have up says it is a picture of a suite. It doesn't look very big, a bit crowded with the amount of furniture it has in there.

I have never been there so I am just reporting what I am seeing on their site. The rest of it looks GORGEOUS!

why would you think they are bad?
i am staying there too. the rooms look fine. ok so they might be 'nothing to brag about' as far as ammenities, but whats wrong with a regular room??
i am staying in a suite there and i toured them twice and they looks fine just not overly fancy.
