CHECKITY CHECK CHECK: my busy wedding planning day at Thomas Knoell, Barron's and my Grandparent's! (with pics!!)

While FH was at home this afternoon drafting his Fantasy Football team, I got a TON of wedding related stuff accomplished!!!!

And it worked out perfectly, because these were all errands I wouldn't have brought him along for anyway!

CHECK:
Went to Thomas Knoell today and ordered all my Wedding Day jewelry! Pictures don't even do his work justice, his pieces are just gorgeous in person.

Some of you may remember that my cousin is lending me her Thomas Knoell comb and hair sticks, here is the original post:

Today I added to her collection with a band for the front of my hair, 2 additional hair sticks. Also got gorgeous earrings and a bracelet to match! I am soooo and can't wait to pick them up!!!

I'm because I can't find pics of the earrings or bracelet online anywhere, but I do have pics of the headpiece.


All the TK items have this design as part of them, except the colors are going to be a little different:


CHECK:
Went to Barrons @ Tri-County Flea Market to look for veils. We worked with the man at the booth, and he was great. Really nice and very patient. We had a great experience there.

And I finally found a veil that I love!!! I don't like the really poofy ones, and the silk tulle veils lay too flat for my taste. And I don't like the ones with the thick corded edge either. And I didn't want to wear a cathedral veil because the aisle is pretty short at the RH.

The one we bought isn't poofy and has a beautiful scalloped edge with very little bead work - but just enough to give it something special. He was great, and when we asked about adding a couple extra crystals to make it like the edging on one of the other more poofy veils, he agreed to do it for FREE. What's better than that?!

CHECK:
Then we went to visit my grandparents. We talked to my grandmother about going dress shopping with her, and she said she already has something picked out in my color scheme!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go grandma!!!

CHECK:
And while we were at my grandparent's, we told them we wanted to display old family wedding photos. We want to make copies of them, just so there's no worries about the originals getting lost or damaged. She let us borrow the picture from their wedding reception, and also found her parent's wedding photo too! The pictures are beautiful, and in great condition too. Yippeeeeee!!!!

Whew, it was such a busy day! I'm exhausted BUT so excited that with 82 days and 22 hours left things are really starting to come together!!!!!!!

Congrats on your accomplishments. I was at Barrons today as well. I had to pick up my veil. I'm so happy you had the man help you. He is great. BTW, your veil and headpiece are both gorgeous.

Jess, I was there when they first opened. I was very happy with my veil. It looks gorgeous. Its similiar to yours, but single tier and no crystals. You made great choices.

Finally! I needed a day like this, the time is ticking away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It really does feel great to get so much accomplished.

Before he met me, he was in 5 football leagues!!!!!!!!!! He sure does love his sports

He got me to do a pick 'em league once, and I came in 2nd place just choosing winning teams by colors!
