Getting hair highlights

Hi,

Ok, my gray is starting to come through little by little. It's not a big deal but I noticed at my hair trial there were a few. Was thinking of getting highlights done-when do you think I should do it and can anyone suggest a good place to go? I don't have a hair place since I moved to Levittown.

I have been going to top cuts in bethpage / plainedge (not sure of the exact town!) for many, many years. The owner, Chris, is amazing. She has a young son so she is not there very much anymore (3-4 days a week I think) but she is so worth waiting for (if you called today, you would get an appt in 1-2 weeks). They are very cheap too and I've never been disappointed.

She is on Hemp Tpke near the AC moore, in that shopping center - a few stores down from Jackie O'Reilly's bar.

Oh, and if you do it now you could see how you like it and do it again in early october - i would do it at least 1-2 weeks before your wedding date.

I had highlights a few years ago, I went to Jeanette @ who does your hair in Bellmore on merrick Road. She was awesome.

I stopped doig the highlights though b/c I wanted to get my hair relaxed and she didnt want me to ruin my hair.

Thanks; I will give them a call. That is near me so that would be great. How are the other people in the shop because I'm going to need a haircut this week and then I'll schedule appt. with Chris for the highlights.

The people at Top Cuts are great. I would ask for the other Chris, Robyn (she may be out on maternity leave), or Alyssa. But I really do think they are all good. I have only been to see those people.
