New to scrapbooking...

Do you think it's smarter to start putting the scrapbook together now and add the pics later? or find something else to do and wait for the wedding to come and have pics and THEN do the book?

I like to have the pictures first - because you can draw from the pictures to do your LO's - like the colors and whatnot...

I usually have the photos before I start putting the layouts together. But if I have a great idea for what I want one page to look like I usually sketch it out on regular paper that way I don't forget. Once the photos are in I see if it works or not.

On my personal wedding scrapbook (which I have just sorted the photos out), while waiting for the photos I put together an outline of what I wanted to accomplish in the scrapbook (kind of like when writing a paper.) I decided to do it as a review of the prewedding and actual wedding day activities. Now that I have the photos, I just have to get creative with the layouts.
