I need your help with invitation vendors ASAP and vendor rant (sorry so long)...

Ladies, I am so disappointed right now. I had my invitations samples made up by Rebecca from wedding Invitation Design and just loved them. I hired her as a vendor to create my wedding invitations in April. According to Rebecca, she told me about a week and a half ago that she was sending my invites that she made for the wedding out priority mail along with favor tags I asked her to make which means I should have received them by Tuesday b/c she sent them out last Thursday. As of today (my mailman has already been here) I haven't received anything. I've been chatting back & forth with another bride on here who is having some issues with her too. I wanted to send out my invites 10 weeks in advance as I over invited and have a friend who lives in Japan. I am starting to lose faith in Rebecca as I feel in my personal opinion that sometimes she does not tell the truth. I've told her that I haven't received my package and she keeps insisting that she's sent it.

I believe I have been extremely patient with her as I asked her if she could complete the invites by June 13th and then I get an email saying that she got something in her eye, can I wait another week. I was fine with that. Um, that week would have been before the month of July. Now it is July 7th and I have nothing. I spent over $1,000 for these invites and I am so sad.

Can you ladies please recommend a vendor that can duplicate invitation styles? I am extremely upset right now and hope that my credit card company can dispute the charges if it comes down to this.

so sorry you're going through this! so unprofessional of her! what does your invitation look like? hope there's someone out there who can replicate the design!

go directly to Proper Papers in Plainview..haha...that always makes me laugh..I have seen those identical invites there and we had everything done in lickety split time..Rhoda is a pleasure to deal with and we have only had positive interactions with them..sorry for the initial disaster, but there are NO issues with Proper Papers....good luck!
