Lots of DIY and budget finds to share!

Alright well I haven't been on the boards to much because I have been working hard with my friends and MOH on favors.. I wanted to show you girls what we made and what we bought and then added to:
1.
Ok these are fake flowers.. I am not a big fan of fake flowers however for the ceremony I wanted flowers on the chairs and found these foam flowers at a country store in AMityville.. they look real to me.. so I am a happy woman and plus i save $$$



these will be on the cocktail tables outside and also at the entrance of the dining area
I have a whole bunch more
these were bought at marshalls ranging from $7 - $15 a piece


Birdcage for money cards
Found at an antique store in Amityville for $15

Favor boxes bought on ebay .. I think it was like 46 for $12 and ribbon I bought at Ac moore for .20 cents a spool inside the boxes are an assortment of hershey kisses


Our Programs ( this had to be the most labor intensive)
I designed the programs in photoshop.. and then bought the programs from target 50 for $10 and the paper inside is just xerox paper you can get anywhere.. my friend mike at work helped me the last couple of days design the way the ribbon was held on the programs.. I love it


Seating cards and Table Numbers
designed by my friend steve and i printed on 120lb card stock
the biggest pain with these was cutting them Lol


The easel is from dollar tree.. you would never know and yes its $1

Wedding Wands I bough online.. I just don't have the time to make them.. not bad though I paid like $65 bucks for 110 of them and then tied a cute poem on what to do with them on the stick part iT SAYS :
When Laura and Keith Say I do,
they will walk down the Aisle.
Hold your wand up high and sahke them around
ANd wish them well with a smile'
its chessy but people will know what to do with them..

Here are where the wedding wands are.. you get a tons of choices of color.. I figured with the time to make them and the cost of supplies it was cheaper to buy them..

Those are all amazing! It's wonderful what you can get when you look. You're going to have such a beautiful wedding. And putting the poem on the wands is a great idea--after all I went through to do the petal cones and confetti, no one threw it as we went down the aisle! They all thought it was for when we left the reception. (Although why would we have it at the ceremony then...) Except it was raining hard when we left, so they never got used. Oh well! I've got a full one to put in my keepsake box.

I really like looking for finds its just part of my nature.. I know its not for everyone.. but when I got the wedding wands I knew people would be like *** do I do with these. and i figured why the hell not have an explanation of them.. so there it is..I also didn't want to get pelted with anything.. I was at one wedding and one of the guests was thowing Sand at the bride What the hell .. I think she was insane..

Everything looks great! I especially love the programs. They look as though there is an embossed border on the cover. Was it specialty card stock that had that on there or do you have an special tool to do that?

The card stock are wedding programs from Target Bridal section.. the programs are slightly embossed at the borders..

No speciality card stock all of the card stock can be bought on staples.com or officemax

its 6 dollars a dozen..
so 40x 12 =would give you 480 wedding wands

I ordered 9 dozen

Ok well there may still be some lingering..
try Marshals - home goods on Jericho turnpike.. and the massapequa one had a couple left..
they are located in the home section of the store.. towards the back!

My friend mike used crazy glue to hold the ribbon down .. so the effect you are these two dangling ribbons.. I was going to do the bow.. but then i was like lets do something different
