Some random questions

Hi everyone. I know this may be random because I haven't been on in a few months, but I have some questions.

For my fellow Jericho brides, the cake that you are getting, have you picked one of their designs or are you asking to speak to the baker directly?

And has anyone booked or considered booking a day of coordinator? If so who have you looked at? I just want someone to take some of the stress off just for the day!!

the answer to your first question: i want some color in my cake...i've always wanted a blue cake to go with my blue theme. if i can't do it through the reception hall, i guess i'll go through the bakery. not a big deal. i've heard other brides doing this and it turned out pretty well.

as for your second question, i don't plan on hiring a doc. i figured i'll have my bridesmaids, friends, and family help out whenever they can. i'll just give them assignments to do to help relieve some of the stress and burden of having to deal with so many vendors and such.

I havent really thought about cakes yet, but if you are looking for a day of coordinator, JT has their own wedding planner, Francesca. I met with her once. She was very nice if you want to give her a call. You can FM me if you want her info.

Im getting married at JT but i am not getting my cake from them, i am getting it from an outside bakery.

I do plan on getting a DOC...have looked around but just casually haven't narrowed it down though. The one name i can remember at the moment that ive heard on the boards is francesca from dazzling affairs

i am using their cake but i am going to see if they can make it with snowflakes - if not no big deal!
