POLL: Which outfit should I wear to my shower TOMORROW?!

Forgive my sloppy hair (it'll be down) and lack of makeup. I absolutely cannot decide which of these two outfits to wear to my shower tomorrow. HELP!!

Option 1: Brown dress with sweater:
(Hard to see but dress has a little crinolin slip with brown piping that peeks out the bottom)



Option 2: Skirt with blouse/tank set
(Is this more flattering? Is the pattern on the blouse too much??)





I'm fashion backwards. Please help!!

I really love both! Tommorow is going to be warm, so if you choose the first you may want to wear the sweater around your shoulders

I did love how the colors of the 2nd outfit complimented your complextion....

they both look pretty but you look happier and more comfortable in the shirt and skirt....

I think the brown dress is really pretty, but I like the skirt better only because it's more vibrant.

I voted for the first one, you look very pretty in it, the second one is not bad but it looks like something you can wear to an interview

Thank you all for your opinions. I really appreciate it. I was leaning toward the skirt at first... but I'm sort of torn now.

I picked out that sweater to go over the dress and I'm not 100% sure it works... I don't want to show my arms and that dress has spaghetti straps...

Hmmm... it's a tough choice. I'm so torn!

Oh, and I'm not unhappy in the first pic -- but you could be right that I may feel more comfortable in the skirt....

Thank you for your honest opinion. This is one of the reasons I'm torn. I feel like the second outfit is a work outfit and the first one is more 'special' - but then I wasn't sure if I looked okay in the dress!

the second looks lighter for the weather and more summery, you just look happier in it. so i choose #2.

you know the short sleeved blazers? maybe you can wear that with the first dress, not sure how it would look though

I really like # 1. If it gets to hot you can always remove the sweater.

I was planning to wear the sweater to hide my arms, anyway... and yes, it will be air conditioned.

This sweather was the best I could with what I could find - LOL.

But maybe I can find one of those jackets or cardigans in case I want to wear it again. Great idea!

i know the whole arm dilemma, that is my trouble area and the first thing i notice in pictures

Maybe you can borrow something from a close friend and ask them to bring it there if its easier
