repost from 07: Help choosing Recessional song

We are having a hard time choosing our recessional song

Prelude: Ave Maria
Processional: Canon in D
Recessional: ???????

We need a song that the organist can play and we do not want the traditional wedding march. Does anyone have any ideas? We are running out of time as the wedding is next week Please, anyone

Re: repost from 07: Help choosing Recessional song

Why don't you just tell the organist that you want him/her to play something upbeet that is not the traditional wedding march?
They should have a bunch of options for you!
Sorry I couldn't be more of a help... When we went to see our organist, he gave us a huge selection of songs for procession, recession, prelude, etc.
