Great Photographer.... if anyone's interested

I am using Memories of Me.. they're located in Staten Island (on amboy rd. i think).. they came highly recommended and I just back my engagement session photos a few weeks ago.. they were fabulous....

I went to see them when I was looking, they came recommended to me by my friend who used them for her pictures, they do beautiful work. I did not go with them for a couple of reasons

1) they would shoot b&w for an additional $500, why would I pay you close to $5k then turn around and pay you more money to shoot b&w

2) I could not be guaranteed that I was going to get the owner to shoot our day

3) They give you your negatives only if you frame your largest photo with them from your pkg. THat is just like charging me for my negatives

4) They put their names/copyright on the front of the proofs I hate that

If I am not mistaken were they not featured on Fox 5 problem solver? they did not want to give a bride back her money after her FI had died?? Pardon me if they are not the same memories of me. Is the wife name Donna???

I think they take beautiful pictures tho' but too many stipulations

Paula, are these still their policies??? Is it the same studio that used to be in Graves End Bklyn??? When we went to see them that is where they were located, and they were in the process of moving to Staten Island. Who will be shooting your pix for your wedding day??? everyone knows when they have found 'the one' they were not the one for us, You will have beautiful pix indeed. As a word of caution, make sure you get everything in your contract.
