FH's family are starting to really get to me...UPDATE

Ok i need to vent now!!!! Today is the RSVP deadline and everyone has responded except my FH's step siblings. They are really nice people but totally unorganized. FH called yesterday to find out what was the deal with not responding and they said that they are trying to find babysitters...well I sent the invites out in April so they have had enough notice!!! His step mom said that she will ask them again and call us tonight....guess what no call!!!! there is only 4 weeks left and this is delaying me with the final head count and final seating arrangments. oh and place cards!!! I asked my FH to call again but he is not doing anything... sorry i may sound a little off the wall but i work 2 jobs and have been running around like a mad women trying to get other wedding things together... what should I do???? They keep saying they want to come which is great but don't leave us hanging... grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry, I would just call them myself. Don't let them stress you out, I know it's holding you up, but it will get done. I hope you get their answer soon

Ugh! I am so sorry. I would take a few deep breaths and call them yourself if you haven't heard anything by tomorrow. People can be so self absorbed sometimes that they may not realize that they are holding you up.

Girl, dont stress. Like everyone said, you and FH should call together and politely tell them that this is their final opportunity to response because you have to give your venue a final head count. Explain that you want them there but that you understand their babysitting issues.

Please don't stress.
Call the step sibs yourself and just explain that you need to finalize seating and get a head count to your RH.
Some guys are just clueless when it comes to taking care of stuff. My FH is this way too, and I am sure there are many others out there.

Uugghh... I am so sorry. Maybe it would light a fire under them if you called yourself and explained the situation. I hope you get an answer soon.
