Did anyone invite people to the eparty that they aren't inviting to the wedding??
FH wants to invite people to our eparty that we weren't planning on inviting to the wedding. I've read this is a big no-no, and I can totally see why, but I was just curious if anyone did it. I guess he figures because our eparty is going to be so casual that it shouldn't matter, but I don't know..What to you girls think?

Everyone we are inviting to the eparty is going to be invited to the wedding. We actually didnt invite a couple of people we wanted to because we werent sure if we would be able to invite them to the wedding.I know people who have been invited to an eparty and not the wedding....they werent too happy about it. I would try not to do it.

I felt the same way..if I could do it again I wouldn't have invited some people to the engagment party because now I have the invite them to the wedding and they are long lost relatives on FH side...and now they want to know when the wedding is. You are suppose to invite them to the wedding...and when it comes time for the wedding you might not what to invite them....so make sure!! before you invite

Tell FH NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!! If you have any doubt its horrible ettiquette to invite someone to your Eparty or shower and not the wedding!

I agree - usally it's the other way around - you would invite people to your weddings that you didnt invite to you eparty - good luck

I had my Eparty and I invited people I really didn't want to invite to the wedding now I have to.

everyone invited to my eparty are invited to my wedding.they m ay be insulted if u dont invite them to the wedding.
