Re: NWR...How long is your commute?

ok, well, my commute now is about half an hour

where in nassau and what time do you have to be there
i used to live in the bronx and traffic on the cross bronx, is off the hook EVERYDAY
i dont mean to scare you, but it is really terrible so depends what time you need to be there - i can give you the best route to take

it not a matter of 'getting used to' its a matter of bumper to bumper

Re: NWR...How long is your commute?

Just get some Satelite radio and enjoy your ride. I used to drive 25 miles each way to work and I really loved the drive. Gave me time to clear my head both to and from work.
Now I'm only about 8 miles but it takes me about a half hour because there's no easy way to get there.

Re: NWR...How long is your commute?

Re: NWR...How long is your commute?

I live and work on Staten Island. In the morning, it takes me about 45 min to get to work. About a 1/2 hour in the afternoon.

When I commute from FH's, it takes 2 hours in the morning and about 2 1/2 in the afternoon.

Re: NWR...How long is your commute?

The more you drive to there the more you learn on where to go and what time. You will learn the traffic and everything. You will be fine. It will be annoying at first but you will learn it all. It takes some time.

true if there are alternate routes like on long island, there are more ways to get to the same place - not true of everywhere else

Yea I commute to Brooklyn everyday which isn't as far as the Bronx. At first it was terrible but now I know what times to leave and sometimes I leave earlier just to beat traffic. You will get used to it after a while.

Yeah I had to travel upstate and I learned the certain traffic was really bad so I would leave earlier or whatever. And if I hit traffic I just had to get used to it and I would listen to the Z-morning zoo or talk on the phone to pass the time...lol
