Weight Watchers! How are we all doing on it?

Ok.. so after my first week on the core plan, I lost 2 lbs.

I dont know if I should be happy because i cheated on Easter, or sad because I've been taking spin classes, all week, that have been kicking my bum!

FH did week one with me, just for support..he did flex and lost 8.2 lbs(NO EXERCISE).. maybe I should switch to flex??

MEN!!! Who needs them and their fast metabolisms!!

Re: Weight Watchers! How are we all doing on it?

I'm been doing WW a year this month and lost 45+ pounds. I do flex as I have a sweet tooth. Lately I've been exercising again after a long exercise lull, so I haven't lost anything as I have rebuilding muscle. Two pounds is great- congrats for you!!!! Don't compare yourself to your FH, people lose weight differently. ANyway, keep up the good work!!!

you can't go by one week. they always say to look at the whole month. Caus eone week you might lose 1lb and the next like 6lbs. And alos you might be gaining muscle going to the classes. I like the flex plan I had done tha tin the past an dlost 18lbs. I am starting again on thursday!!!

2 lbs is really good.

Re: Weight Watchers! How are we all doing on it?

don't let him discourage you! The last time I signed up I did it with FH too and he only did it so I wouldn't have to go it alone.

p.s. he beat me EVERY week even up until the end.

He lost 85 pounds I lost 40. Okay I could deal with that but he also did it in half the time it took me!

Doing it with you FH is great because you two will now be on the same page when you go out and stuff but don't compare your weight loss to his because guys lose more weight quicker than us.

They stink!

2 pounds is awesome though!

GO YOU!

Re: Weight Watchers! How are we all doing on it?

I should add that I'm still doing WW and to get my arse back on track I made a pack with my friend that we are going to do our best to lose 10 pounds by May 19th

I have a wedding on FH's side of the family on May 19th and I'll be meeting a lot of his father's side for the first time so I wanna look my best.

Nothing like some good motivation!

that's my biggest problem. . .I don't. . .

I mean I go walking in my neighborhood and I do tapes at home but I try to avoid the gym cause I don't want to pay the membership.

I live in Queens though. . .

you would have to know someone that goes to the meetings who could steal you a copy of the stuff for free. lol

or you could go when they have free registration, get the stuff and then do it on your own and not go back..

I know a few trick as I've been doing it on and off for YEARS

Re: Weight Watchers! How are we all doing on it?

You can go there and buy the books without being a member.

To find the points, basically take the caloris and divide by 50.. if theres more fiber round down, if there is more fat, round up..

Im a math teacher so I love figuring it all out, maybe I should try flex..grrr....

Re: Weight Watchers! How are we all doing on it?

Well you know that I am doing it. I'm doing flex. I like it so much. I lost 12.8 lbs in 5 weeks. I go to the gym five days a week. Man do lose weigh faster. I hope I lost this week when I go. I ate so much on Easter. Try the flex it might be better. My first week I lost 4lbs.

Keep it up you will lose it. You want it to come off slow so it stays off.
