Le Blanc Resort in Cancun

Ok. So I've dreamt of going to Tahitit for my Honeymoon my entire life... but at that time my parents were going to pay for the wedding...

My fiancee and I are paying for it ourselves so I am not going to get to go to Tahiti but it's not so bad, my FH said he will take me for our first anniversary and we found this great resort in Cancun... the name is Le Blanc and we booked our honeymoon there, it's reaaaaallly nice.. I was wondering if anybody has been there or is going.??

GO! Thats where we want to go next year. We loved the CANCUN resorts because there are soooo many choices for every possible budget AND they have the best adult-all inclusives around. The issue with aCaribbean in general is expense and they dont have many adults only resorts that are affordable. We don't like kids on the vacations only because parents are on vacation too and in our experience, this often means they let the kid do whatever the hell they want to and get angry at you if you get pissed because sand was kicked over you. LOVE the chilly 'He's just a little boy.' AHEM! I don't see him kicking sand all over YOUR azz lady!

But I digress :) We loved Cancun for the resorts-Fantastic, NEW ones and TONS.

I reiterate ... GO!

We went to Secrets Excellenece last June and had the best time. Such luxury. Next year we are going to do our offiicial honeymoon and want to go to the new Secrets in Maroma Beach and to Le Blanc ( 2 week honeymoon) Le Blanc looks amazing and we talked to two couples at Scerets who had just come from there and they said it's just amazing.

It was our second choice for the honeymoon because it got consistently great reviews on TRIPADVISOR, just like Secrets did. I always try to look for the ones that are conistently 5.0 or 4.0 and then when they get a bad review, I look at what the complaint was-usually the complaints are of the same nature. ie: 'Weather was bad'-well you DID go during hurricaine season you jerk.

'Room smelled.' -Its cancun-you sometimes get musty odors. Many hotels (secrets did) provide incense. bring a scented freshener and move on.

Definetly go or do EXCELLENCE. I know its changed hands but we had such a fantastic time there I can't believe its gone that downhill.

thats where we are HM'ing. hope its as nice as tripadvisor stated. our TA said its great. shes a family friend, so if shes wrong, ill find her and hurt her!

We're going there for our honeymoon!! It looks amazing and the reviews from Tripadvisor sound great! Its ranked #1!!! I have some pictures of it in my album
