What kind of VEIL/MANTILLA would look good with my gown?

It has a lot of lace and beading, so I don't want to overdo it with my veil. I really like the look of mantillas though, especially the ones with lace around the edge. I like the old-fashioned, romantic look of them. Would that be too much lace, though? If not, does anyone know where I could find a matilla with lace that would match the lace on my dress?

I think it would look great. Just get one with a thinner lace edge, so it doesn't compete too much with the dress....

who made your dress? Do they also make veils?

I bought a san patrick gown, and also got my mantilla from them.... a perfect color / style match!

I ordered my veil custom through them. Mine is cathedral length with alencon lace edging all the way around but gathered to a comb instead of mantilla. I thought the price was pretty reasonable, it cost a little over $200. FM me if you want & I'll give you a TON of websites with lace veils

I agree with portjeffbride. A thinner lace edge will look gorgeous with your dress.

Thanks for your ideas ladies! Casablanca makes my dress. I will try to contact them to find out if they can make a mantilla with matching lace.

I had my mantilla custome made a Barrons in Tri-County. I brought pictures of my dress (including close up of the lace) and viewed almost every lace sample she had before picking one.
