Past brides whose MOB or MOG wore a blue dress..

Hi ladies. My mom is thinking of doing a navy blue for my wedding and is worried that a blue dress would show up as black in the pictures. Can you please tell me if this happend in your pictures? This is the dress she is thinking of getting. I think it looks so nice in blue and is a beautiful dress. I know in this pic it looks blue but she is worried with different lighting and all that stuff.

Any info is helpful.

My mom wore navy to one of my brother's weddings and the dress did not look black in any of the pictures.

My SIL's and cousin's BMs wore navy and they never looked black either. My girls are wearing navy, and I know the dresses won't look black in the pictures at all.

She should get the dress she loves in the color she loves. The pics will be beautiful!

My FH's aunt wore navy to her daughter's wedding and the dress did not apear black in any of the phots that were taken.

My MIL wore navy blue and you could tell the color. Look at my community album proofs for instances.

My mom wore a navy blue dress to my sisteres wedding and it definitely did not look black in pictures!

The navy will not look black. It is a really pretty dress and it will look nice in all the pictures.

I wore navy as a bridesmaid dress and it did not look black in any of the pictures

Pretty dress! I wouldn't worry about it looking black in the pictures.
