Navy blue/White ideas???

I am thinking about doing a Navy Blue/ White wedding. It is in June but my FH is a HUGE Penn State Fan/ Alumni. As a ode to him and his obsession I am in some need of Navy Blue/White theme color scheme ideas! All you help is much apprieciated!! thanks in advance

I found blue and white ideas-not all are navy BUT it gives you and idea how you can incorportate Navy(substitute it for the lighter blue) OR if you really need to have brighter colros (and I sympathize!) then you can do white and navy and some lighter blue shades so he gets his Navy and you still get your summer wedding. All about workign around them -grins-

Another idea is to pick one bridesmaid dress and then do it in two colors. Like pick a navy for example and then another brighter color. Has to be the SAME dress for it to have a feeling of unison. Then you either give the girls all the ame bouquet with maybe more emphasis of the opposite color in it; ex. If you have navy and red, the girls wearing navy would have more red in their bouquet and the girls in red would have more navy. Or if you choose the tiffany blue,same idea.

Here I am!! I always forget to check this board.

Well I'd say my theme is more Yankee than navy and white, but hopefully I can help. My MOHs and Jr BMs are wearing Bill Levkoff 966 in navy with an ivory sash (pics in dresses album). My FG is wearing a white dress with a navy sash.

My bo-k is going to be white flowers with splashes of blue.

OOOH you might love this idea though! Instead of waving ribbon wands outside the church (we can't throw any petals or blow bubbles), we're gonna have navy and white penants!! That might work for your Penn State theme! Or maybe use the pawprint as part of your monogram! That might be silly but there might be a classy way to do it.

You could name your tables after players from the football team, or name it after favorite places or things to do at Penn State- like the CREAMERY! Yum! I looooved that place when I had a stop at Penn State on tour years ago (remember bunnybride?).
