Bridesmaid poems....starting my DIY's

So i'm starting to narrow down who my bridal party is and i have six girls i definitely want to ask. That means it's arts and crafts time!!!! So i just wanted to see what you girls thought of these poems!!!! What do you think??? Like dislike?? They are basically the same pieces mixed together different ways. I want to use 3 different poems.

You have always been there,
more than just a friend.
you know just who i am,
and everywhere i've been.

You smiled when I need it,
And listen when I grieve.
You hug me when I cry and
Blow boogers on your sleeve.

So the day, the dress,
The bride, the groom,
The joy, the tears,
Will all come soon.

I will say I do
To my husband-to-be,
With our friends and family
All watching me.

I hope the sun
will be shining down.
Keep your fingers crossed
That i'll fit in my gown.

But there's one more things
that there needs to be
And that's to have you
standing with me.

Will you be my bridesmaid??

POEM 2:

It's hard to believe
that in just a little while,
Mikey and I will be
walking down the aisle.

The day, the dress,
The bride, the groom,
The joy, the tears,
Will all come soon.

I will say I do
To my husband-to-be,
With our friends and family
All watching me.

I hope the sun
will be shining down.
Keep your fingers crossed
That i'll fit in my gown.

But there's one more things
that there needs to be
And that's to have you
standing with me.

So nothing would give me
more joy and pride,
than to have you
right there by my side.

will you be my bridesmaid??

POEM 3:
Through the ins and outs
And thick and thin,
No matter what's happened,
there you've been

The beginning of the first poem is much more personal than the second. Are you that close with every one of your BMs? If not, take the last verse of the second poem out and use the remaining five verses as a no-frills version. Do you know what I mean??

I did something like this for my girls...there is a poem called something like what makes a good friend or my idea of a good friend...it talks about the things you did when you first met up until now...ill see if i have it...thats what i used but I changed it to be more personal...and then for another girl i did top ten reasons why you should be my bridesmaid it came out cute

oooo i would love to see the poems....i haven't glued anything down yet, because i am not giving them out until at least april (maybe sooner for a few)

well one of my friends literally we have blown boogers on her sleeves...she is just that kind of girl

i am unsure of which beginnings/ends to use for which girls...there is one girl i have literally known since we were born, but we have never really lived in the same state (i know weird)...so i feel like although i love her to death and wnat her beside me and will be friends forever, she doesn't know everywhere i have been like the girls i've grown up with. Does that make sense??? so i mean she has known everything, just not like the others girls...so i don't know

and i actually had to have the 6 verses, because i am a symettry balance freak, and with 5 i didn't like the way it looked

I am using that basic poem also!!! But the boogers are a cute touch!
