Advice from experienced brides needed!
I know I'm not supposed to be here, but you guys have been through it all and should have all the answers. I am coming up to the two month mark, and I totally feel like I am completely forgetting to do something! Aside from meeting with the caterer, band, florist, etc to choose menus, etc., what were some of the things you had to do at this point in the planning. I am getting so paranoid that I forgot something!!!!!! Thanks to all!!

Re: Advice from experienced brides needed!
If you're getting married in church, church booklets. Fix your bubbles, rice, rose petals, etc. bundles. Wrap all your favors. GO FOR YOUR MARRIAGE LICENSE!!!! Passports, etc. Go for your makeup/hair trial.Last year at this time, I was in your exact shoes and I'm trying to remember what I had on my list. I probably still have the list, so if I find it, I'll post more stuff! LOL
When and where is your wedding?

Where was your reception?Octobergirl, Kathi's right!! Make sure you confirm everything!!! Also, all the stuff you need to bring to your hall, write your names and date on the boxes, so that they don't lose them or mix them up w/another wedding!!! How exciting!! Good luck!

I must have been half asleep when I posted yesterday because you got married the day AFTER me and I knew that, but I wrote the wrong thing -- duh!! Hello!! I still can't believe it's almost a year already -- didn't it just FLY right on by??!!! I have to start planning something for my parents 40th anniversary Sept. 1, you just gave me a good idea -- maybe dinner at the Miller Ridge!! Thanks! Happy 10th to you too!!!

things to do..
Ck your rsvps to see if there are any stragglers...and then call them or have your fiance do it. You need to know- because you will soon need to get a head count to the hall- and you dont want to be out any xtra $$Ck to see which guests will need hotel rooms. Hopefully you have already made arrangements at a local hotel. COnfirm your expected head count there too- and your rate. AND>>>ask them how many staff members will be there the day that your guests arrive. There was only one teenage kid at the recpetion desk when my guests arrived...and he could not handel checking them in and answering the phone at the same time!!!
make your welcome/goody baskets for each of the hotel rooms.
have all your clothes laid out/chosen- for your honeymoon ..and tolietries/sunscreen/film/etc
confirm w/ the florist- what they are making, when delivery is, that they will place the centerpieces on the tables, etc
Confirm with the clergy/rabbi...
Make up your programs
Confirm your weding rehearsal dinner site...see what balances may need to be paid
Write up your song list for the band/dj
write up your list of must have pics- and list people's names for the photog.
ENJOY THIS TIME!
The MONTH before my wedding I had pratcially no sleep. WE closed on our house, did repairs, did the floors in the house, moved me out of my apt, rob out of his, I made up the baskets, made the cetnerpieces and the favors, the program, picked out special cards fopr ROb and his parents, etc.
ENJOY!
