trying to keep costs down, recommendation for HAIR perhaps in a salon? North shore, Nassau?

anyone? anyone?

I'm thinking of getting our hair done in a salon (verses in my home) to save money. It seems like it'd be $100 or so pp and I feel bad asking each bridesmaid to pay tht much for their hair.

Philip Michaels they are in Seaford. Thats where I'm going to go. I only trust them with my hair. If you do call ask for Jessica she is the best.

To be honest, I do believe it would be more $ to go to a salon because you can't get an updo (or maybe you can) for under $65 in a salon, plus tip. If you had a girl come to your house to get ready, it's probably around $75-ish and that could be including tip. I guess it works out even

Hair Expo in Oceanside. We got our hair and makeup done there for my friend's wedding. We walked in with 3BMs and the bride. They did an amazing job on all of us. My hair + makeup was about 100 total, plus tip (it was a little more for the bride). Our makeup stayed on all day, hair stayed perfect. Highly recommended.

My sister works out of Salon 1 in Glen Cove. She had her own salon, Hair By Dana, recently, and just moved into this salon to help them out. She's been in the business for over 20 years and she's phenomenal!!! Check out her site...Keep us posted!

Denise Venti is AMAZING! She was referred to me by my makeup artist Jaqueline Nicole. Denise works out of HX Salon in Hempstead (the salon is actually INSIDE Hofstra University) and also a few days a week she works at City Slickers in Baldwin. She is traveling to me the day of my wedding and my girls hair is costing $80 pp. Hope that helps!....good luck!
