Thank you card etiquette
A couple of people gave me a shower gift and wedding gift in one at my shower and I sent them thank you cards after the shower. Do I still send them a card to thank them for coming to the wedding?

Re: Thank you card etiquette
Yes, I think it's important to thank people for sharing your wonderful day!

Re: Thank you card etiquette
I'm not sure what the etiquette is, but I would play it safe and send a wedding thank you too, just in case they're expecting one.

Re: Thank you card etiquette
If you thanked them for the gift already I do not think you need to re-thank them for the same gift. If they attended the wedding, then yes, you send a thank you card saying how wonderful it was for them to come to the wedding, but if they didn't attend the wedding you might just want to send them a nice note with a photo and say 'Thank you again for the lovely XX'.

Re: Thank you card etiquette
If I'm supposed to send the thank yous right away, how am I supposed to include the pics in them? I always wondered about this. I found out my proofs are ready, and I'm really excited, but I'm not going to stress about going out to Pt. Jefferson from Queens, since nothing has to be done for now (for once!)

I have received Thank you cards 3 months after weddings. People understand the pics and cards take time to do (i hope!)

Re: Thank you card etiquette
When I asked other brides here, they said to send them out ASAP, and not to wait 1 month or so. I'm confused. But, now I guess it will save us money on getting wallet pics. I actually never really understood what to do with those tiny pics that couples sent us anyway.

Re: Thank you card etiquette
I think you are supposed to put those in the Thank you cards. It takes time to get the pics back and to pick out one photo you like best for the Thank you card.
I never questioned when I was getting my cards after I attended weddings.
I knew they take time.
