why does 2009 seem so far away?

it seems like its so far away, but the time goes so quickly.

I know exactly what you mean, it seems like it will take forever!

But at least we all have time to make decisions and not feel rushed....plus...technically we're all under three years away!!

I know, I hate that! Especially when you really want to start thinking about planning and looking, etc. and everyone says 'you still have 3 years' or 'it's still so far away' and 'a lot could change in that time'. It's so frustrating! It has kind of slowed down for me though, people are actually taking FI and I seriously now!

most of the vendors I talked to kind of blinked at me and had a 'huh?' expression on their faces.

Though one did ask if I would book him right then, just so he could say he would be working in 2009.

Its just so frustrating, because I want to lock in the current prices, but so much could change by then, and most wont even consider it yet

I get all the same comments: you still have time, why are you waiting for so long? why are you booking already you have two years to go?
yeah, you don't think i know how many days i have left.
