I ordered this incredible french lace dress, then changed my mind

The deposit was non-refundable. Ugh, so I'm trying to sell it.
Still in Macys, unaltered. So use some of my deposit to help you pay for your dress. I'm just trying to re-coup anything I can.

It is a demetrios, full lace, A-line, chapel train, out of control beautiful dress (retail $2400).

I'm asking $1700

someone please help me out, I feel so guilty making my mom lose this money.

I don't think she's selling the dress, I think she's selling the deposit . Probably something similar to store credit.

I decided against the dress because my fiance REALLY wanted to change our affair to a Black tie wedding.

I thought if we were having a black tie wedding instead of a regular suit and tie wedding, I should probably have a ball gown.

I still love the dress, the lace is incredible, but I think it's more suitable for a day or less formal affair.

If I was having a day wedding, this would be THE DRESS no question.
