have u and fh ever broken up?

i guess being together since im 14 i had wanted to experience a typical teenage life and thought i should be with other ppl or at least thats what everyobdy told me and i did i broke up with fh after 5 yrs when i was 19 for 5 months for this guy at my job and i totally regretted it and we got back together and thankfully he took me back...just wondering if that happened to anybody else because i know there are a bunch of girls who have been together as long as me and my fh

We haven't but I know MANY MANY MANY other couples have before getting married...

I have been with FH since we were 15 - he broke up with my after about 6 months. . . i met someone else but he didnt, we got back together after a few months.

then when i was in college i had a whole ' i want to be with other people' phase - broke up with him, kissed another guy, regretted it and thank god he took me back

i guess the good thing i learned from those 'breaks' was that no matter how perfect a 'crush' may seem - after getting together with them, there is just nothing like true love which is what i always had with FH!

Fh and I dated for two and half years broke up for about 3 months. I dated around (VERY BAD experiences) actually the most god awful time in my life dating wise but at the same time i had so much time to myself for the first time and did things that were great with friends.

We got back together after talking to each other during our birthdays. One night i was really drunk... IoI VERY drunk called him up when i got on a train... got confused for the first time in my life with the train.. thought i was going to be let out in babylon he screamed at me figured out i was still getting of in lindy and got in his car and picked me up. Spared me a bad walk home being as lit as i was, talked over some of the issues we had and never left each other ever again. That was two and half years ago!

fh and i did attempt this but it was only a few days and it was because of me cuz i couldnt deal with him being away and not knowing what was going on.. he was away a college and my ex went away to college and cheated on me and his roommate told me.. so i was paranoid.

Hahaha, I feel the same way! I guess after being with FH for over 5 years, I'm bound to have some moments where I feel like that.

No we never did, i think part of the reason is we have lived together for 2/3 of the time we have been dating, breaking up would of been tricky with moving all my stuff out and living arrangements etc. I think living together forced us to deal with any issues head on.

we broke up once for about a week, it was just one of those things when you think hey I have been with him since I was 17 should I try other things??? Then I realized I just got lucky on the first try

No. But I was 19, he 23 when we started dating and he was the best on letting me not regret being so serious so young. I look back and think I was so immature and am so grateful that we worked so well together.

No, we never did. We've certainly had our knock down drag out fights, but we never ended the relationship.

I met FH when I was 17. We broke up after 6 months (I was 18). I never dated anyone, but he dated. We got back together when I was 20 and have been together ever since. The reason for the break up... I told my father I was going out with the girls to a club and when I stayed at my friends house to sleep over. My father saw his car in the drive way of my friends house and I was punished for...........................6 months!!! I am not kidding! lol

YEAH!!!! MANY TIMES!!!! For big reasons....I'm not goin to exactly air out my dirty laundry in public....but just to let you know we broke up after a year and a half for about 2 months, then broke up after another 2 years (3 1/2 yrs) for about a week and then we broke up right after our 4th anniversary for about a year..i dated some other people and still spoke to him(he dated no one)...we still pretty much dated each other in between and around our '5th' anniversary (cuz we still counted it) we decided to get back together....there was definately trial periods but ultimately it made us a MUCH STRONGER as a couple....we look bak now and think of our relationship in 3 phases so far....for the past two years honestly we couldn't be happier. Sure we fight and somestimes YES I WANT TO STRANGLE HIM, but i still love him. We got engaged on our 7th anniversary. Every couple is different...sometimes you don't always get the fairy tale but you can come damn close....HTH :

No, but we were almost at that point. Just glad we were able to talk things out. Communicaton is very important. And, also the fact that I told FI that we shouldn't go to be uspet because one of us will not wake up in the morning and it won't be me

its hard i guess when most of us have been with our fh since we were so young and so new to relationships...but now that we are getting married we need to communicate and work everything out
