Fox Hollow Brides

I was a bridesmaid at Fox hollow the past weekend, and just wanted to let you all know the wedding was wonderful. They do a great job.
If anyone has any questions please ask.

Also her flowers were beautiful, and so were the centerpieces, but I never asked what florist she used, when she gets back from her honeymoon, I will let you guys know.

DJ was body rock and they were very good too.

good luck

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

The cocktail hour food was delicious, lots and lots of food. This is were I usually eat. Also had lots of waiters walking around with food. and the seafood boat was a big hit.

the main dish, there was a choice of salmon, filet mingon or chicken franchise. I had the filet, it wasnt that great but I never eat at weddings anyway. My fiance had the salmon and didnt care for it much. But the food wasnt gross, they did also bring around seconds which I never saw before.

I believe they did have a vienese table but I of course was too busy dancing to see it or check it out. i dont sit down too much at weddings.

Also another plus was that the bridal suite was connected to reception room, this was wonderful I never saw the lobby or anyone else from another wedding, just used bathroom in bridal suite and left my pocketbook in there for touch ups.

i hope I answered your questions

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

I would love to know which florist she used (once she is back from her honeymoon, if you could get the info, it would be appreciated). I will be married at Fox Hollow in April of 2003 and haven't booked any of my vendors yet. Can I ask you, did she have her ceremony there? If so, how did that go?

Thanks for the review, it's always nice to hear other people's opinions on the place.

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

Yes she did have the ceromony there too, It was beautiful, just alittle wet (the ground that is), the wedding was sunday, we were lucky it didnt rain. There were also lots of steps, but was just beautiful.
It was the cereomony site on the right of the fos hollow.

Are you having your ceremony there?

good luck

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

Yes, I will be having my ceremony at Fox Hollow. We are an interfaith couple so it seems it the easiest way to do it. I'm not sure whether it will be outside or not though, depending on the weather... otherwise it will be inside in one of the upstairs rooms. I've seen it and it looks pretty, so either way I think it will be fine.

Do you think it's worth it to add the seafood boat to the cocktail hour? We have been considering adding it... do you remember what exactly it included? I know some places just have shrimp and clams, others have crabs and lobsters... just curious.

If you have anything else to tell me about the wedding, I would love to hear it. Thanks again for everything.

Re: Fox Hollow Brides-Mishy

I am getting married there on 8/25 and I am using all there vendors
DJ is TOP HAT entertainment, bob is great and very personable, he will definetly pay great detail to all your needs
I am using simply elegant in Glen Head for my flowers, before Gina and Tammy left Perfect wedding planner, Gina told me that simply elegant is equivalent to Pedestals florist, that simply elegant is just a well kept secret of the scottos
for limo, I booked with mike from royalty, my fiance chose the 1929 rolls and loves it, I hear from people they also show up early and with the cars you chose
simply elegant's number is 516 759-1300
email me at [email protected] if you have more questions, I am trying to remember if I have any other vendors :) I think that is it
OH, and for photos of course, I chose Cassarinos
there reputation speaks for itself, I would have used them even if they werent the inhouse vendor
keep me posted
