Re: Shopping with Mom for her dress
My mom got her dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. We also looked at Estelles, Sugar Plum and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue (where I got my dress)!

Re: Shopping with Mom for her dress
My mother got her dress from Lord & Taylor about a month ago. It is gorgeous. It is 2 pieces and the Garden city store only had the skirt in her size and color so they shipped the other piece from the NYC store. They were very helpful and have a good selection.

Re: Shopping with Mom for her dress
I just went with mine to Sugarplum in Lynbrook. She found a really nice dress there. They seem to have a large selection, and very nice salespeople. It is prom season though, so it might be crowded there during the next few weeks!

Re: Shopping with Mom for her dress
I was at BridalReflections this Sunday to see gowns and they had a really nice selection of Mothers gowns, they were pretty affordable and the woman(marie?) there was so helpful. Moms get 10% off if the bride buys there.PS. FYI they are not open on Sundays for the summer. i got lucky and made it on the last one for the season! Good luck

Re: Shopping with Mom for her dress
When you look at all the boutiques it is worth taking a run over to Estelles afterwards. My mom found two different dresses at boutiques for around $800 each. When we went to Estelles the same dresses were $200 each. Needless to say, we bought her dress at EstellesWelcome New Vendors
