Re:Honeymoon
Hi, I was just wondering how long do most people go on a honeymoon for. I figured like 10 days..but what can u do at a resort for that long of a time. Also is anyone going to or does anyone know anything about Hawaii,Bahamas,Jamaica,Aruba or Saint Lucia. Any ideas..comments...suggestions would be appreciated. Also I was looking into the all inclusive places such as Sandals or Superclubs. Anyone know much about those places. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Allison:-)

Re:Honeymoon
I guess it depends on your budget and time of year. I`m getting married in October, where it`s hurricane season in the Caribbean, so we`re going to Hawaii. (Not that you need an excuse to go there!) The best thing to do is go to fodors.com, then travel talk. There are message boards for every location, and experienced travelers give suggestions and answer questions.

Re:Honeymoon
My fi and I are going to Sandals Montego Bay we got a great deal through honeymoon travels. The person we dealt with was great, she was very patient with me and extremely helpful, considering i called her at least 5 times a day for quotes. She worked with us and got us everything we wanted and still within our budget. I will post their info in a sec.

barbados and the isles
Was able to bank all the time I could and went for 3 weeks.. First five days in Barbados. Very friendly place, great food. Very easy to get around on their public bus system. In fact, we toured the whole island, praticially on their buses & each trip cost 1.50 each way! Did Harrison Cave, and the nature preserve, Also did a mini bus tour through the inland and shore communities. Was a great time...stayed at a low-end apt style place. Then robs aunt gave us her 2 weeks of time share..(!) We went to St johns for one week, and ST croix for another Let me knwo if you need any details & I can dig up my info packets

Re:Honeymoon -LEE - Karen - LONG!
Hi Karen! We are getting married on May 5 and leaving for Hawaii on May 7. We are flying into Honolulu and staying on Oahu at the Halekulani Hotel (www.halekulani.com). We are only staying on Oahu until Wednesday since there is not too much we want to do there except see Pearl Harbor. We are then flying to Maui and staying at the Grand Wailea (www.grandwailea.com)for 5 days. Then we are flying to the big island - Hawaii and staying at the Four Seasons there. We are flying back on Friday the 18th which means we get back on Saturday the 19th. We decided to spring for First Class the whole way since it is our honeymoon and we have no idea if we will ever get back to Hawaii. The hotels are a bit expensive also, but there are tons of other options. Our travel agent booked through a tour group - Pleasant Hawaiian. But I have also spoken with other people who recommend GoGo tours and others. The package really worked this way - I told our agent the days we wanted to be away and about how long on each island and how much we were willing to spend on air/hotels. She created a plan for us through this package place. What you end up getting is exactly what you wanted with some extras - like limo transfers to and from the airport on Oahu included, a lei greeting when you get off the plane, bags of goodies, discounts for luaus, etc. Also, we rented a convertable car on Maui and Hawaii so we can go exploring - included in the package. They set everything up. Let me know if you need more details, you can e-mail me at [email protected] fun planning!

Lee - you are going to love grandwailea!
The Grand Wailea is gorgeous - I stayed there last april and it is just amazing. The pool is huge and has a sort of whirlpool thing, 2 slides, and a swim up bar!

Phyl-St. John
Hi Phyl, we are considering St John for our honeymoon, and I was hoping that you'd be kind enough to share your experience there. Where did you stay? Recommend it?? I've heard villa rental is the way to go What time of the year were you there? Were mosquitos/no-see-ums a problem?? Did you snorkle/scuba?? Thanks very much for your time! SN
