Mini Review of Wedding at Glenn Island Harbor Club

For any brides using this reception hall you have nothing to worry about!

The cocktail hour was nice, some of the food was not FH and I's taste, but for people who enjoyed that style they loved it! Their eggplant rollatini was delish!

it was set-up in the 2nd floor room right along the water and gorgeous!!! what a pretty setting

the receptiion was right off the side room in a ballroom with seating for about 120-130 people, nice oval tables, two bars set up, cocktail service was given to us at the tables which I always think is a plus! the food was great!

Started with a mediterranean sampler, that was very good!
our choices were filet mignon, tuscan chicken or salmon........
I had the filet which was amazing! and fh had the chicken equally as amazing!!! So no worries there with the main course!

for dessert, we each received a plate with a fruit tart, raspberry cheesecake, and warm chocolate cake with chocolate sorbet! it was YUMMY!!!!

the cake was yellow with mousse and strawberry filling and it was just ok, im not a cake person, but i have had better...........but that delish dessert plate more than made up for it!!!!

another side note is that the champagne they served all night was really great, sometimes at a wedding when they serve it all night they can go to cheaper bottles after the toast and here they didnt it was a very good champagne the whole night!

The mat'd seemed very attentive, the staff were very nice, and really on top of the guests any time we needed something they were right there.

over all we had a GREAT time and say no worries to brides having their weddings here!!!
