Such a productive wedding invitation weekend... almost done... and just realized I'm missing 25 RSVP cards!!!

I just e-mailed the girl, but I'm already behind on sending out my invites!!!! I'm SO upset!!! AND panicking! The box was opened when it got to my house... I'm SO afraid the missing RSVP cards fell out!!
I was doing SOOO good today, too! Addressed all the invites, put the spreadsheet together to keep track of the invites, numbered the RSVP to match the spreadsheets and wrote how many guests were invited on each rsvp card! I was almost done with the cards when I realized I was missing about 25 of them!!!! I'm so upset! This could push me back about 5 days, even if she sends them out immediately, which I really can't afford this late in the game!!

And don't panic...maybe you can send out the ones you have, and save the last 25 for the bridal party invites, closest family...all of those peopel that already know everything, you know they will come, and it won't matter if they get it a week later??? This way you can get started on giving time for people to RSVP and take the majority of the invite load off your chest.

I agree. Send out invites now and wait on sending those that you already know are coming. Email your friends to say they are coming and explain what happened. I was in a friend's wedding and didn't get her invitation until a few days before the RSVP date because of a problem. It was no problem to me.

thanks, ladies. the problem is, I already numbered the invites and filled in the # invited, assuming I had them all in front of me - not knowing any were missing. i should have counted them all first, then I could have done what you suggested, which is exactly what I did knowing I was missing envelopes. (the girl told me I was missing enveloped because the paper place short changed HER envelopes).

Well, it turns out, everything will be okay. The RSVP cards aren't 'missing'. She held about 25 back with her, just in case SHE had to mail my guests invitations directly if we were down to the wire, which was really nice. And ya know what? She DID tell me this in one of our million e-mails... I just totally forgot. But the RSVP cards are on their way with my completed invitations and remaining envelopes and should get to me by TOMORROW!!! She said my guests will be oohing and aahing over my gorgeous invitations by this time next week! .
