NWR - Moving Question - Things to Pack Dishes in (Linens & Things??)
FH and I are moving to a new apartment a week from tomorrow!
I absolutely HATE packing, but I want to be super organized so this is a stress-free move. We have movers, etc., but I want to do all the packing myself and have everything labelled and organized so it can be unpacked easily.
Now... DISHES! I know my SIL said she found these fantastic things to pack your dishes in at either Linens n Things or BB&B... Does anyone have any idea what she's talking about? I can't seem to find anything like this online - and I don't know what they would be called.
Apparently, it's a kit you just pack your dishes into and it's already cushioned...? Anyone have any clue what I might be talking about?

those are awesome. the china protectors. my mom has her extra china packed in those. keeps them getting dusty and stores nicely in the china closet behind closed doors.

no problem!I love them...I keep my grandmother's china in them and when I need to use them all you need to do it take them out. The dishes stay clean, dust free and they won't clank into each other and break because they pack so well in those.
Good luck packing!!!!!

Re: NWR - Moving Question - Things to Pack Dishes in (Linens & Things??)
Thank you! I had a feeling someone here would have some clue what I was trying to describe!
I only just moved into that apartment last April and FH moved in over the summer. There was only a six month lease (took over my brother's lease when he moved to DC). So, I feel like I just did this whole moving thing, and I don't want to do it again!
I am looking forward to getting into our new apartment, though. At least I know we'll be there a year and can really settle in and make it nice.
There is just TOO MUCH to do before then - like packing up our whole apartment. Thankfully, FH did not unpack the things he wouldn't need before this move so a lot of his stuff is already packed in boxes and ready to go.
We have less closet space at the new place, so we need an armoir for our stuff... That's on the list for this weekend. I'm hoping we can just find a furniture store that will deliver it to the new place next week when we move in...
Ugh, going to be a busy weekend!
