Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

Hey girls - i was just wondering if anyone has used the nutrisytem weight less program - where they give you all the food.
If you have tried it, what do you think - did you see results, was the food nasty? Is it worth it? Thanks!

Re: Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

i tried it. the food was not bad. i saw the scale move almost immediately. i had to stop because the food made me sick. not 'yucky' sick, i mean my stomach hurt so much that i would cry.

my cousin did it and had no side effects. she lost about 15lbs.

Re: Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

I am considering doing this...I have done Weight Watchers and LA Weight Loss and I didn't have great success, so I am hoping this will work....

Re: Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

i haven't tried it, but i'm sure it would work as long as you don't stray off the diet. for things like that they usually have all the proportions and calories worked out just right.

Re: Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

My boss is currently doing this right now. The food isn't bad and he eats other food than the nutrisystem food. He has also done WW and had good results but, didin't like the woman who came to our office for meetings. He's had success.

I'm a huge proponent of WW personally!

Re: Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

I would do WW before anything like this - the food is overly processed and full of sodium - very unhealthy stuff. about 12 years ago my uncle went on nutrisystem to lose weight because he had heart problems, and wound up getting very sick with it because of all the sodium - I would opt for real food, but in moderation, like what WW teaches.... Remember - you cant eat boxed food forever, but you can always eat the food around you for the rest of your life if you understand to eat moderately....

Re: Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

I've done Nutri before, it was OK. Depends on whether or not you can tolerate eating diet food.
I wrote a review on it on ePinions:
http://www.epinions.com/content_210031316612

I still have boxes of foods I haven't eaten yet. I did notice an unusual amount of...um,... irregularity after eating it. sry, I know TMI.
Hope that helps!

Same here. The food was nasty, in my opinion. Also, because it has a lot of chemicals, it gave me migraines which I am prone to get with certain kinds of food. I returned the uneaten food and STILL have not received a refund. I sent it back in February.

I would recommend Weight Watchers. It is the most sensible diet I have ever been on.

Re: Kind of NWR - Nutrisystem??

im on this diet and i think its amazing. the only diet that actually works and i love. the food is pretty good!! there are some foods that are disgusting of course, but you just dont order them. i tend to lose about 3.5 pounds a week and its not unhealthy. its probably one of the healthiest diets there is. and its alot more successful than ww. ww takes too long. this makes you lose the weight quick and it doesnt come right back on. i recommend this diet 110%
