invitation inserts

What is the correct order for the invitation inserts? What goes on top, reception card or response card?

what kind of invitation?

a folded invitation, like a greeting card, a pocketfold, or a single page invite?

Im taking a break from doing them right now actually.....The actual invitation goes first, then the piece of tissue paper goes on top of it, then the reception card goes on top of that and then the response card and envelope go on the very top with the response card tucked under the envelope...everything goes face up. Then you put everything in the inner envelope (dont seal it) and then you put the inner envelope iside the outer envelope with the peoples names facing towards you so that when the open the flap of their envelope their inner envelope names are facing them...does that make sense?
