On this site or in general? I would say don't get too close to people whom you converse with here. the results can be disappointing. Otherwise keep a cool head, and enjoy your planning with your friends that mean the most! It's a process that can become even more frustrating in the wrong company

I agree Mel.. u never know what to expect but Eli is right u can def meet friend forlife on here too!


As far as advice goes.. I'm always reading about people stressing ove rthe smallest things.. 'who gets their dress first' and rehersal dinner invites and thank u cards eing ontime or late.. in the end none of this stuff will really matter. Focus on enjoying the planning process of ur wedding rather than stressing over it. Thing usually have a way of falling into place and the things that dont are things that noone but YOU will realize. Ur guests will have a good time regardless... Just try to enjoy rather than stress!

as a past bride, here's my advice:
do one task at a time. it will all come together. don't let people stress you out. if you take it one day at a time, you will have the most beautiful wedding...which i did. just take it all in. don't worry about the weather. no matter what the weather will be like, it will be a beautiful day

i would say get things done as soon as you can. that way the stress is less when itis crunch time and you dont get shut out of vendors that you really want. if you know who you like just book them!!

Weddings are expensive, please yourself its your day do it your way.

don't be critical of how another bride is planning her wedding...every person is different and works at their own pace. Enjoy the moment and worry about your wedding, not someone else's.
