My Sister's Wedding - Land's End, Tommy Tunes, James Cress, All Star - PICS

This past Friday was my step-sister's wedding at Land's End. I have to say that everything was incredible! Anyone who is getting married at Land's End has absolutely nothing to worry about. The food was amazing (best penne alla vodka I've ever had) and the bridal attendant was so attentive.

I'm so happy that I booked Tommy's Tunes for my own wedding. They kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time. James Cress did a great job with the flowers too.

The only complaint was with the limo company All Star. I know that Nicole will elaborate on this when she gets back from her honeymoon, but we had 2 limos and both of the drivers were exceptionally rude. They paid almost $800 for pick up and drop off service. As soon as the guys reached Land's End the limo driver demanded that they get out of the car or pay him extra money to stay. The best man wound up paying extra so that the guys weren't forced to stand outside to wait for us to get there. The total trip took 15 minutes, I don't think waiting an extra 15 was too much to ask. Our limo driver stopped the car in the middle of the street (didn't even bother to pull over) and asked her for money. All in all, they were just very rude and I would not recommend this company.

The cake was by Audrey's and it was so moist. Chocolate with vanilla pudding filling.

DIY CPs. James Cress came in and added the roses and the petals.
Our very own STBMrsDaniRella caught the bouquet!!

Re: My Sister's Wedding - Land's End, Tommy Tunes, James Cress, All Star - PICS

YAY!!!! LAURA-- thanks so much for posting!!! And Yes, I did catch the Bo-K which ended up being a little for me!! LOL but it was a lot of fun... The wedding itself was amazing. Probably the best wedding I have ever been to. The food was SO delicious and we were so disgustingly STUFFED lol... and the DJ was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! We danced and danced the entire time-- I have blisters on my feet!! The service was also great and I didn't have to get up ONCE to go to the bar and get a drink-- they were constantly bringing more! It was really nice and Nicole and Tony looked so happy which was the best part!!! CONGRATS TO NICOLE AND TONY!!! Best wishes to you both and have a wonderful life together filled with joy and love!!!

ETA: OH yes the cake! I almost forgot-- it was Audrey's and DELICIOUS!!!!! The chocolate cake with pudding center was a great filling choice and it was really moist-- I ate my entire piece like a little piglet lol!!

ETA: OMG Laura! I'm SO sorry to hear about the limo company. What a let down and it really puts a damper on the day for the people in the wedding party as well as the bride and groom! I mean, we are talking about 15 minutes and to be rude like that is just uncalled for. I will definitely remember that company when people ask me for who to avoid!!

Thank you so much for sharing. I am getting married at Lands End also and using James Cress and All Star. Sorry to hear about All Star, I will follow up on that because I have seen them in action before and had no problems. But I am going to talk to them again after that story. Thanks so much for posting. Everything looks beautiful!

I was wondering about the cake from Audrey's Bakery. I know someone who got married at Flowerfields and they said a few weeks before your wedding, you can actually purchase a small sample sized version of your cake for $10. Is this true?

I'm not sure about that actually-- I know they let you taste it and that you can make sure it's good and it's what you want beforehand, but I don't know about a sample... I'll have to ask about that!
