Were any of you sick 5 days before your wedding? I am

I had my bachelorette this Friday and the next morning my throat was swollen. Now I have the worst cold. Why is this happening to me now? I have WAY too much to do.

I dont mean to sound like the old Jewish grandmother that you may (or may not) already have BUT...

Have some chicken soup (not from a can!) I assure you, you will feel a lot better. Take a warm bath and maybe a glass of wine to relax yourself. You want to be able to enjoy every moment. I took two days before the wedding to do all the things I needed to do and to clear my head - best thing I ever did!

For a sore throat gargle with diluted apple cidar vinegar, really helps!!

Definately do the chicken soup! Start taking some Cold-eeze & also Airborne! I swear by Tylenol Sore Throat also! It seems to knock it right out of me!

I didn't have a cold, but I had the flu the day of my wedding, so I know the feeling

Get some rest!

Luckily, I was on the tale end of it, so no vomitting but I did miss out on the food & drinks! Luckily my hall packed my stuff up for me! It was the worst, but I still enjoyed my wedding!!

1000 mg per day of Vitamin C works for me everytime. Dont be alarmed sometimes it turns your pee orange and stinks a little but I swear you'll feel better!!!

i woke up with a sore throat and sick after my bach. party too... it sucked... I just cant party like I used to

anyway, gargle, rest, liquids, vitamins, and I would go to the doc. maybe they can give you something QUICK to make it go away
