every place is different

at my church it is 2 hours every tuesday for 2 months

so that is 16 hours

which STINKS but our only other option is an overnight and i am NOT doing that!

At the church where we are getting married, in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, they have 4 night sessions. We couldn't attend so the priest told us we could just go anywhere as long as it was Catholic. We then have to present them with the certificate.

I don't think it is based on hours per se but on completion of the program. We took a one day program but, I don't think they are offered anywhere anymore.

we did our pre cana in a weekend program thru the RVC dioceses. it was a saturday and sunday at kellenberg.

I don't know if you know this or not but you don't have to do Pre-Cana at the church you are getting married at. We got married at St. Agnes in Rockville Centre but did our pre-cana at Blessed Sacrament
