Poem from cat to FH...worked this time!!

At first I smelled him on your clothes,
A stranger's scent upon my nose.
Who is this man? I then asked,
Will I be a cat outcast?


And then a knock upon the door,
My life would change forever more.
You let him in, I watched you kiss,
You didn't even hear me hiss.



You introduced him, said 'He's nice',
I was just as cold as ice.
But then he scratched behind my ear,
Perhaps I'd been a bit severe.


And now you've planned your wedding day,
So I've decided he can stay.
He's nice, he pets me on the head,
He plays with me, he shares the bed.
When I've no food, he gives me more,
What else could a cat ask for.
