PICS and review from my sister's wedding at Crescent Beach Club

The day was great, we really lucked out with the weather! Hair was done by Carmella (a vendor on here called Happily Every After) and Jackie from I Make up you did airbrush makeup on the bride, me, my mom, and 2 bridesmaids. All the flowers were done by Flower Michele, the one thing was the dad's flowers started wilting and falling apart mid-reception and some of the centerpieces seemed smaller than others. Also the flowers for the cake were forgot in the van and had to be rushed to the hall and they just dropped them off and left the decorating up to the hall. Everyone loved Timepiece and they even let the groom have a guitar solo which made his day! The food at Creasant was great, but if you can avoid dealing with Denise your day will be a lot smoother. When my sister went to drop off her favors and bathroom baskets, no one helped her carry them, they just gave her a push cart and said they had no 'extra hands' to help.. ummm ok... it was a Thursday night and she was a pair of extra hands standing right there! Also they don't provide menus but Denise insisted on proofreading the menu we made because 'they don't accept mistakes.' Well you should have made your own then! On the day of she would just bust in at odd moments and cause chaos. She came into the bridal suite and yelled at all the bridesmaids for eating the food that was for my sister, well we didnt know that and my sister can't eat any fried foods which the bridal attendant was well aware of. They were following her around with a bowl of plain pasta shoving it in her face to eat, which she didnt' want to do because she has a very sensitive stomach, but they refused to let her have any alcohol until she ate (she tried to explain that she didn't want to drink anyway). Well when Denise walked out of the room my sister was so upset we said something to the BM. Five minutes later, Denise reappears and says very nastily 'I was told to apologize to you for being snappy, but I'm very protective of MY brides.' Umm I think her sister and her bridesmaids are looking out for her more than you who know her for 2 seconds. Other than her crap, the day was great and it was a brief, tense, unnecessary moment that really only lasted 5 minutes. Another thing that bothered us was that there was a tip cup in the bathroom and at every bar (there were 3 bars throughout the night). We figured with all the tipping and extra gratities that those people were covered and shouldn't have been asking for more from the guests...

My best friend just had her wedding reception there (7/30) and she had nothing but complaints about Denise! Both from dealing with her before, during, and after the wedding!
